Weight Lifting Can’t Do Everything
Weight lifting should only be one part of your routine. You also need to take care to eat right, walk more, do some sit ups and so on. Even body builders don’t stick strictly to hitting the bench press, they also run or bicycle or swim. They mix in aerobics and they don’t just eat steak and nothing else. Actually, without vegetable fiber, you can forget adding muscle or burning fat, as your body won’t be properly digesting all that protein in the first place. Make weight lifting a big part of your weight loss plan, not all of it.

Water, Water, Water
The more water you drink, the healthier you will be. The people who say that water is all you need to stay in shape are stretching it a bit, but the fact is that water is better for you than any energy or sports drink, and can help you burn fat faster.

You Need Calories
If you are trying to burn fat, it’s important to understand how calories work. If you eat a big meal, your body will be burning through that instead of the fat. Fat is energy, it’s how your body stores it, so watch what you eat. But obviously, a starvation diet won’t do you any favors, either.
